Commissioned by Izumisano City, the gateway city to Kansai International Airport, General incorporated association the Izumisano City Support Center for Foreign Workers was launched in April this year as part of an internationalization-related project .

In recent years, the declining population and aging population have become serious issues that are having a significant impact on local economies. For this reason, the need for foreign human resources has been increasing.

In order for this new workforce of foreign human resources to fulfill their potential and to build a community where they can live comfortably, we must place the utmost importance on each and every one of them.

As the link between foreign human resources and the local community, we are expected to not only comply with laws and regulations, but also to play a leading role in realizing and promoting a multiculturally convivial society by emphasizing the perspective of respect for human rights. To this end, we would like to provide a wide range of support to foreign human resources, companies, and local residents at a one-stop consultation service for issues that are piling up, such as employment, residential status, problems with residents, and broker problems.

We also aim to contribute to the recovery and development of the social economy by developing projects that will enable them to play an active role in Japanese society, such as training foreign human resources with high expertise and skills, connecting them to companies, and providing daily support for their subsequent professional and social lives. We also believe that it is the mission of the Center to further deepen exchanges with friendship cities overseas, to serve as a “bridge” between foreign human resources and host companies and communities, and to connect country to country, person to person, and dream to dream.

Through cooperation and collaboration with the local community and related organizations, we will strive for the further internationalization of Izumisano City. We would like to ask for your warm support and cooperation.

We have been relying on labor from abroad. Until now, under the name of the technical internship system, trainees have been supporting our economy as the real “labor force. But we must never forget that there are still more than a few trainees who are being treated badly by some heartless people.

It is urgent to create an environment where foreign workers can live in Japanese society with peace of mind , and The time has come for us to take a fresh look at our response to foreign workers , as well as the state of the system.

Aiming to be a center that the next generation can be proud of, and a step forward from here in Izumisano. That is our wish.
